The Asia LEDS Forum 2014 under theme "Development through LEDS and Green Growth" builds on the focus of the two previous forums. The Asia LEDS Partnership was launched to enhance regional coordination on LEDS and green growth and to promote regional capacity building and knowledge-sharing towards advancing low-carbon, climate-resilient development in Asia. 

The Asia LEDS Forum 2014 will enable participants to:

  • Understand and identify linkages between LEDS and development, with a focus on the benefits of green growth
  • Present and analyze case studies that illustrate the linkages between LEDS and development objectives, in order to extract lessons learned for policymaking and implementers
  • Acquire tangible skills from hands-on training on related tools and/or frameworks
  • Discuss topics of interest as part of a thematic community of practice and/or members of the ALP peer network, to promote sharing and coordination
  • Learn about innovative and state-of-the-art LEDS practices and approaches
