Training on Carbon Stock Assessment of Mangrove Forests

The USAID LEAD program and US Forest Service, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment of Cambodia, organized a field training in Koh Kong Province, Cambodia on a new global protocol for measuring the carbon stored in mangrove forests developed by the Sustainable Wetlands Adaptation and Mitigation program (SWAMP). SWAMP is a collaborative effort by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), USFS, and Oregon State University, with support from USAID.
